Barbara Grewe

CEO of Glenwood Global Risk Management LLC
Better Futures Programme Cohort 2025
Barbara is an internationally recognized expert on national and cyber security issues. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences on these issues. As a senior counsel on the 9/11 Commission staff, she was instrumental in identifying the governmental failures that may have been responsible for failing to stop the 9/11 plot as well as drafting the proposed reforms, including a complete remaking of the US intelligence community structure.

After completing her service on the Commission, she was involved in implementing the Commission’s recommendations – both while serving in the US government and while working for a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC).

While in Cambridge, Barbara is looking to investigate how to create and implement effective national cybersecurity policies that secure critical national infrastructure.
